Used Horizontal Flow Wrapper - Wrapper Packaging Equipment For Sale

Horizontal Flow wrappers are used to wrap products. Horizontal flow wrappers move in a horizontal direction on the product line. They use a single roll of film that is wrapped around the product. A former is used to guide the film around the product. Once the film is wrapped around the product, excess film is left below the center of the product. The excess film can be sealed as either a lap seal, sealed by hot air, a hot bar or wire, or a fin seal, resembling a dorsal fin on the bottom of the package. The sides of the package are sealed by sealing jaws. Sealing jaws are used to heat seal both front and back ends of the package. The jaws rotate, one on top and one on bottom, so that when they meet, the end is sealed and cut.
