R.A. Pearson Fully automatic Bag Inserter
- Inserts pre-sealed and pre-perforated poly bags on roll stock into preformed cases and "cuffs" bag over cases edges
- Includes all necessary case handling capabilities which include case control guides and case indexer.
- Automating bag insertion ensures that bags are properly placed in the case or shipping container with an even cuff around the flaps
- Flat or gusseted bags from the presealed and perforated roll stock are fed to an opening station. A vacuum plenum secures the bag and the carriage opens the bag above the waiting case. A cuffing mechanism contains the bag and permits a mandrel to enter the bag and travel to the bottom of the container. Simultaneously, the cuffing mechanism cuffs the bag. As the mandrel is retracting, the carriage closes to allow the vacuum plenums to secure the next bag, maximizing vacuum establish time. When the mandrel is retracted, the case is released to transfer out of the loading station.
- Equipped with a fully enclosed guard package, complete with electrical interlocks
- Minimum case size of 9.5" long x 9.5" wide x 10" high (top flaps open, bottom flaps closed)
- Maximum case size of 24" long x 17" wide x 24" high (top flaps open, bottom flaps closed)
- Small footprint helps conserve space
- Bag roll dimensions: 3" core, Max O.D. is 14", 1.25 to 4.0 mil bag thickness, Max. web width of 35".
